About Me

My name is Jacob Wilford. I’m a self-employed stock trader from Vancouver, Canada.

I’ve been trading stocks all my life, even as a high school teacher back in 1990. The markets have always been my passion since I can remember.

For the past 15 years, I have been a full-time trader. I trade American and Canadian stocks and sometimes futures.

I’m a technical, swing trader and I like to trade mid cap companies.

I created this blog to share some of my thoughts and knowledge with newer traders who will, hopefully, benefit from my long-time experience.

I am by no means a perfect trader, I make mistakes and I fail a lot. I don’t claim to know everything there is about trading but I know quite a bit. You don’t spend 30 years in this business without seeing the good, the bad and the very ugly of stock trading.

This blog also functions as a journal of sorts for me. It’s a way to put my thoughts into paper (or a screen).

I hope you find value in my posts. Thank you for reading.
